Series 3 for sale. Bought by me in 2008 as a runner with problems. First problem was the engine block was cracked so replaced with a 2.5 N?A diesel.
Chassis changed for galvanised Richards one. New radiator, new parabolics and shockers. Tub floor and stringers replaced.
Dixon Bate hitch and rear steps. Doors all replaced. Recon gearbox. Overdrive and F/W hubs. Defender driver's seat. Lots of other bits replaced.
Modular wheels with good tyres plus spare on rear swing away plus another two spares.
Downside - passenger seat tool box needs replacing and some paint needs attention.
Asking £7500.
