HiAs some of you may know I've got a 1976 series 3 diesel which I got off my granddad. At long last now comes the time when we can actually start work on it. I'll post the before pics on here (I know they're on another thread but this'll keep it consistent...I hope). This will hopefully turn out to be my first car and our aim is to rebuild it so its sort of like a bespoke one the factory may have made for a paying customer (e.g. better interior and the like). Its got a 2/5 N/A diesel fitted which I'll keep and we're going to fit power steering to it.

My restoration thread has suffered the same fate.
I had loads of photos and it was developing into quite a nice story.
I still have the photos saved elsewhere but just don't have the time to reinstate them all.
Now I just use the 'Upload a file' button which is on the bottom right when you are replying to a post.
It's hard to organise them and they seem to upload in a big lump so you can't get any text between them but at least they are there.

I’ve some new series high back seats that I bought for my Defender that I could sell for £200, dimples on them are simply from storage and will come out on their own.
After removing the rear drop plate we discovered the only major bit of rot on the entire chassis which was lurking behind it
