Yes they have, i saw one once!
Basically the cylinder head gives it the extra power.
It has larger inlet and exhaust valves
Larger ports
different exhaust manifold/twin downpipe
larger alloy inlet plenum and 52mm throttle body
different profile exhaust camshaft
Variable Valve Control on the inlet cam (the engine actually has 5 camshafts and two timing belts)
this makes a very driveable, economical but punchy engine
Basically its the same engine management system (mems)
but needs a different ecu and engine loom for extra wires etc
You need to make this talk to the bcm 27vt security system and your laughing
nearly as much hp as the v8 boys
