surely you'd have to carry a hell of a long hose for the pressure washer around with you to get all the way down both sides of the motor? And you'd have to have a water source so chances are you'd end up doing it at home anyway?

It might draw its own water - I am not sure. It looks like a good idea though but it depends on how well put together it is.

No mention of its capability of drawing water from a barrel, if it cant do that then its not a lot of good.

I've just asked the supplier of this winch/pressure washer if it needs a pressurised water supply and here's the answer;

Hi, thanks for your question. The pump does not need a pressure feed, it can draw water from a barrel, it also self primes. Best regards, Rupert.

So there we have it (from Rupert no less!).

Means jack ****, probably better throwing the barrel of water over the landy :lol:

to be fair to it, and to prevent the naysayers from berating what could be something that works...

its only a self priming pump... not exactly hard to get wrong!

Could work perfectly well for all we know.
For a couple of hundred notes, if it pulls you out of the **** just a few times..its paid for itself as far as im concerned.

sod it... tell you what ill buy one ... Then ill do a review of it ok?

Good man, will happily eat my words if i'm wrong :bolt:

Quick question though... won't you need a really long pressure hose in order to get around the landy?

To be honest you could park by a stream. Two lengths of hose and a brass nozzle on the one. If it gets most off before the trip home be useful enough. Hell on a pay and play site could wash all the vehicles down for a donation to chosen charity

my only concern about it is using it in the winter... What if some water is left in it and it freezes...

will order one early next week when i get paid
