A guy on here is looking for a basic v8 for his 90. He has a diesel that may be spare. You want diesel and he wants v8, not sure where this is going....
I'm looking for a basic V8 for my 90 but it is a 2.5 petrol, not much more fuel efficient than a V8 but a lot more perky than a diesel
@EeEk please contact me if you are interested.....
My previous V8s (90, 110, RRC) were all lpg, and with the appropriate mixer (BLOS) & ignition advance module, the were just as good on gas as on petrol but roughly 1/2 the price. Note, all 3 above V8s were high compression engines which gets more out of lpg than low comp engines. Unless one goes for an all singing & dancing sequential injection system, they can be installed and removed fairly easily without impacting the originality of the truck.
