Conquer Member Aug 7, 2011 #2 yeah, give your canvas a good jet wash, which will also take out some of the old dye. Let it totally dry, pick up some colour dye/restorer and some fabsil waterproofer, mix the two and paint on. Give it two coats on a hot day.
