Just had an overheating engine resulting in a head gasket rebuild (+ belts/skim/head bolts etc). Runs fine but is now really difficult to cold start (hot start no problem). Need to churn starter and pump gas pedal and then it eventually catches. Any suggestions really appreciated, before heading to a garage.
Thanks

garage i headed too, scratched their heads for days before replacing battery for a heavy duty, and moving some ht leads away from airbox?? unsure as to why but it starts a lot easier,

Freelance.....seems good to me as runs and starts fine when warm. Appears to me as if there should be some sort of auto-choke for cold starting - I am not familiar with the injection system, but plenty of pumping the gas pedal gets it started!!
