New pads on old discs, on a 2.7 ton behemoth, not what I consider good practice, particularly as a pair only cost about 60 squid and not much extra work, and also gives one a chance to inspect and adjust/renew the handbrake shoes.

Mechanic saw them fibres showing hanging out so changed them as had to go to Euro Car parts (still open in Peterboro) anyway for a battery (translation: has trade a/c there) Disks will be at their lowest possible useable thickness by now at 116k IMO (always assuming they hadn't been changed by a previous owner)

What about those adaption possibilities in iCarSoft?
Are they there and I've just missed them?
Or am I imagining it?

Good job ! hope all goes well with it :)
i reckon it had Covid, all part my conspiracy theory, only one thing that wrecks the planet more than an engine and that's a human ;)

Thanks for your encouraging replies...
Still have to watch it for the Lambda sensor, air suspension pump thermistor / sensor (?).
Have ordered up the rear disks, will check fronts when the rears are done.
Then it's onto flush out / change brake fluid.

Can you remember whether there's any adaption toggles available to set in iCarsoft?

You need 50 likes before you can sell your sh1te tat on here, and then only in the appropriate section.:D

Oh! Sorry about that...

First it wouldn't stay on with the mains pressure so I used a circlip. But that broke the plastic input.
Haven't looked at it more recently as some decent Albanians have started working at Tesco's car wash
(instead of the usual slop-on-someone else's previous dirty-water-with-grains-in-it ruining your finish with swirls
needing a polish to put it right afterward)

Those of us keen to ask Vicki about how she was able to tell everyone viewing 5th Gear that the L322 with M62 was so wonderful, may have wondered where she is now:
"Finally, I’m absolutely delighted to welcome a new addition to the Historics team. Those who came to our last auction in March will have spotted motoring TV presenter, journalist and racing driver, Vicki Butler-Henderson, which included her brief spells on the rostrum for the very first time.
An avid classic car enthusiast, she was evidently not put off by her experience that day, and I am delighted to say that Vicki now joins us as Historics’ Brand Ambassador. We warmly welcome her and I’m sure that her infectious enthusiasm representing Historics will be appreciated by all our friends and followers as we enter our next decade. Be sure to say hello to Vicki if you see her around."
She will be found at Windsorview Lakes (Datchet) Saturday 18th July (auction starts at 9.30am)
