Run her up to temp this morning and the housing has stayed dry so I am going to call that good.

thanks to @meego for the tips

MOT passed now I have fixed it :)

however my local ‘old skool’ garage is closing - the owner is retiring at end of March :(

To much like hard work :/

This + many!

I had an enquiry before Christmas of buying a proper old school village garage with 2-3 mechanics. It's constantly full, produces good revenue and people come from miles around to have their vehicles serviced, MOT'd, repaired...and it maintains a lot of classic cars.

I did think about this for...all of a few seconds. It came with no residential property attached [the existing owner will remain there] and thankfully common sense got the better of me. I remembered that "one should never marry one's mistress..." Far better to keep a mistress at arms length for pleasure only. If not, they become hard work.

yes quite! No way would I take a garage on!

Here, the window etching kit arrived. Now etched all four sliding windows and windscreen. Oddly, the etch did not take to the WIPAC headlamps...clearly [pun o_O] they must be plastic.

@flat, apologies here - thought I'd posted in "what have you done on your 90/110/130..." thread. Instead I'm now looking like a thread hijacker o_O

Well it passed the MOT yesterday. No advisories. To be fair I have only done 2000miles in it in the past year, what with surgery that took almost 5 months to recover from, a new baby, a house move, and insane work schedules - I just haven’t been able to drive it lol

still pleased it passed :)
