While W is away getting herself cut about, I realise that I m drinking a full bot of wine a night instead of sharing it with her.
So tonight I decided to take myself in hand.
So far I have consumed a roll-your-own Martini style cocktail where I experimented with Suze, instead of Noilly Prat. Not a success as it was both dry and bitter in a bit of a weird way, so I mitigated it with Martinin Rosso which made it much more palatable, I thene consumed 50 cls of Heineken, which at 5% is little more than tapwater.
So I am now enjoying a few Grants on ice. Doing well, ain't I? I feel very abstemious!! 🤣 🤣

When's the W coming back 😛😛

There are two cooncil tips near here. One is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, the other Wednesdays n Thursdays. Got the car loaded up with rubble for a tip run, to the only one which accepts rubble. Before setting off I checked which one is open today - not the one which takes rubble :(. Had to unload it all again.

Replaced the spark plug cap on the mowing machine. Starts and runs fine.
But this arvo noticed that there are regular small spurts of flame out of the xhaust. (The heat/burn protection shield is off it at the mo having bust and me not having fixed it and put it back on, so it may have been doing tbis for ages.)
Normally I don't work in weather that is dark enough to see this, have no idea how long it has been like it.
Humph!
Guess I'm gonna have to give the valves and rockers a look-see, if it has any, (rockers I mean).
It has also, for a while now, been accelerating, engine note wise between ever 5 to 12 seconds. I just assumed the belt was slipping, but now not sure about it at all.
Have never played with machines like this before we came to have a place here. All stuff in the UK is electric.

Scrap run tomorrow 🙂
