The roads round here are beyond crap. Cracked alloys and burst tyres aren't uncommon

There's potholes i go around with big squishy tyres, then look in the mirrors and see the audi etc go straight over/in/thru it with low profiles

That's not a pothole. That's a sink-hole.

Later on that night about 8.00 pm I saw council workmen filling in several potholes along the same piece of road. Makes one wonder how many other people had problems that day

How can you tell the difference?

It could be the handbrake. A lot of cars do it. As the sus drops the angle of the arm changes at the rear and can force the handbrake a little.
Your on cable and not electric aren't you @gold rover?

I did suggest handbrake to mechanic who came out but he is convinced it's a sensor And yes on cable

£11 for a 20ish mile round trip. Not even the rr costs that much and that only does 22 mpg

It's the only service I've been on where you must reserve a seat on a train with no reserved seating

Not fluid level. It was first thing I checked and mechanic checked too. Handbrake goes off, brake system doesn't. It's all poiting to a sensor/wire.
