I've been getting it at work where mobile coverage is dire, not noticed it on wifi
My solar lighting in the shed has failed. Nothing works. 
I thought I would take a look at the battery, are those cells on the 12V 110AH battery all meant to be dry? - NO!
That might be why then. It has been there since 2018 and never been maintained. Mea-Culpa.
Topped all the cells up and put the charger on a deep-repair cycle. Nothing to lose at this point really.

Floored it all the way up Essex way (a long steep hill). She went really well. Steering is tight and precise. Lovely. V. Pleased.

Mine was like that too, couldn't believe how quick it was.
I'd prolly still have it if the rust bug combined with constant coolant going missing hadn't made me take it off the road.
(I changed the head gasket, no better ... )

Fixed W's Pluriel.
The old O2 sensor came off surprisingly easily, to the point that I am wondering if the problem was down to that, anyway I am preserving it as a spare if this happens a third time.
Of course it wasn't all plain sailing. The cable connects to another connector near the front of the engine. There is a bracket bolted to the head that holds the cable to the other O2 sensor away from the exhaust heatshield, as well as the connector's two halves, One of which, the one on the cable going straight to the sensor is held by a plastic clip thing that gave up the ghost. Even though I took the bracket off to gain access to the two tongues that had to be depressed to slide the connector out. It is almost as if it was designed to get broken! The clip that needed to be depressed was right under it's clip.
So once both halves of the connector were put together, and the remnants of the bust clip removed, I used the holes in said bracket to hold the connectors where they should be with the judicious use of wire. Gardening wire is essential in the tool kit for this car!
Less luck with the Disco. The SRS light staying on turned out not to be just the stupid wires under the seats, it is the driver's air bag, so likely to be the rotary coupling. Although with electronix it could still be bad connections or broken wire inside insulation somewhere.
Hate it.
Had to cancel the MOT.
Ah well!

First little outing today I still had the "blowback" in the intake.When they are going well they really are a blast!

I brought it home and did the idle/mixture/idle settings again (adding a tiny bit more fuel on the mixture screw).
That second outing and belting it up the hill was much better, no issues. I am going to take it to the Essex Mini Club meeting on Weds night as it seems likely to make it there and back now.
On another thread @sierrafery has just jumped on with some really good help about this. So good to have peeps on here that know their stuff.
