thinking of picking up a spare auto gearbox but wondered if anyone knows how much it weighs before I try and get it into my boot as it’s a fair distance from me tia

Its about the same as our tent weighs and the boot handles that fine. Mr & Mrs Grumpy up front, 3 adult sized kids on the back seat, all the other camping stuff, from toaster and kettle to clothes, clothes dryer, BBQ and bikes go in the boat that gets hooked up to the tow bar..... Then we hit the road, climb over the mountains in comfort and get to our seaside holiday destination without any hassles. Bloody good them Freelanders

My spare jatco is either 82 or 84kg, with no oil or torque converter. They're good at hiding oil which leaks out when yer least want it too, once yer picked it up. It will easily go int boot but tie it down or it'll roll around when yer driving.

About 10 Kgs, without fluid, which it's good as letting out, or not depending on your requirements.
