While you are in there, you may as well clean out the bell housing, fit a new bush and change the clutch.
And a new HD arm.
And check your flywheel is flat ... just done my Defender, it's very satisfying...
Nahh you dont.... Folk just take the gearbox out for the fun of it once the clutch is done....and they have time to kill.

On the auxiliary dash the rectangular warning light is for the brakes and wired to the PDWA switch on RH front chassis rail , perhaps one of the additional pull switches is a test for that

Hey, thanks for that… I’m not alone! Jeeze I’ve just splashed a **** tonne of cash on some more parts… so, I think, every part will have been replaced now with genuine parts apart from synchros… so it’ll be them..
