I just pulled my carpet up its only just the very edge of the carpet under the trim and used a big flat blade screw driver to push it down back under the trim

i would say change the disc's and pads my td5 disco use to pump the brake pedal and it had warped disc's put new one's and it's sorted now

ran out of derv in the td5 thought it was going to be a right pain to get going but primed it and started first couple of cranks happy days :)

fitted new front wheel bearings both sides and straght pipe :)
