I've finally found the time to fit my 200tdi after fully rebuilding it, it runs like a charm, starts on the drop of a coin, smooth and no smoke but it seems a little low on power, I can't seem to get it past 65mph, which was the top speed of my old 2.5na so something seems weird to me. Any ideas?

Bought a replacement TD5 Binnacle and I upgraded from the mechanical speedo to an Electronic speedo but how do I get the speedo into the binnacle, there is a lip that appears to stop it going in. I guess I'm missing something stupid.

Unfortunately the one I won off EBay was for a 300tdi but after a few weeks of searching and countless phone calls I managed to secure a genuine 200tdi filter. Sadly I had to pay a premium for it. They are rarer than rare. If anybody is looking for one also I can point you in the right direction.

I can't seem to find an Air Cleaner assembly for a 200tdi Anywhere "esr370", Does anybody know if I can use the air cleaner from a 300tdi "esr2102". They look near identical, just not sure if the ends of the pipes are the same diameter.

You don't happen to have some kind of part number for the spacer as I can't seem to find anything in the parts catalogue

I'm having a little trouble remembering where the alternator bracket goes. In the pictures I've seen it seems to go here but it hits off the water pump when moved. Am I missing something?

Got around to fitting the timing belt today, can I just double check that everything looks ok before I put the front cover on. Fuel pump pin is snug in its hole. Camshaft cog is lined up. Crankshaft woodruff key is lined up. Flywheel timing pin is secure. Everything looks ok I...

Got a wee bit more done. Got the injector pump fitted. Got the sump fitted tho one of the bolts decided to snap :( Also got the flywheel housing and flywheel fitted :)

Thanks for the reply bud, it turns out that one of the followers fell down and stuck between 2 of raised bits on the can, so when I tightened it it pressed against the follower. All fixed now :D

I've 2 questions regarding the camshaft sprocket, I can't seem to find the torque setting for the bolt and when I tighten the nut up finger tight I can spin the sprocket inc the shaft Freely with no resistance but if I tighten it anymore than finger tight it becomes very hard to spin. What am I...
