Yes i agree, i don't want to start tearing the car down ...i'll see if i can get a more in depth diagnostic scanner on it first, get some more info ...i'll let you know how i get on cheers

I have connected up a Sealy scanner (not the most in depth but its all i had to hand) and got :- 1). CAN BUS Instrument Cluster fault code 2). Brake Verification fault code This was after to fault occured,,i was hoping to get engine or immobiliser codes but, this maybe down to the Sealy...

It always cranks over, the engine does'nt fire...so i don't think its a key problem, but will try the spare and see if it makes any difference, cheers

Hi, Thanks for the confirmation of Fuse 37, i will remove it and then investigate the intermittent non start...I don't think that the inhibit switch is the fault because it Always cranks over (in P & N), Its as if there is an immobiliser circuit that has cut in! e.g. an ignition cut or a fuel...
