the new speedo transducer square end is too big to fit into the gear? do i need to buy the above speedo drives to rectify this?

i brought a td5 transducer hoping it would fit, but it wont fit in the transfer box as the one that's in it is a different size? im unsure what year the gearbox and transfer box are out of a disco?

yeh sp landrovers door the steel door skins but they are galv, ask them if they will do you some that arent galv if you want, or ask them to t wash and prime them for you? i brought a pair of galv frames but opted for the ali skin as there was a massive wait for the steel skinned ones.

anyone know the cheapest place to get a load of them orangey red square clips defender seem to be built up of? the old ones where brittle and ruined! need about 50 with 50 screws ideally!

paint early on and the sun bakes it in the afternoon, well thats the idea with the poly tunnel :) pretty wind resistant aswell, had a gazibo lasted about 2 weeks. waste of time and money!

fair enough, bloody SP Landrover doors messing me about, sent me some doors and they werent primed properly, so waiting for them to send me new fully galvanized ones.

i was lucky and got a bulkhead for free, needed a new corner and floor welded in but apart from that its ok, the dash and heating cost me £300 on the other hand, need a disco gearbox aswell as the defender one is in the wrong position, wiring shouldnt be too hard but im making a custom speedo...

Hi all, i have a 90 300tdi im rebuilding, ive miss placed the original fuel tank drain plug, the ones i order online are alot bigger than mine, its near enough a m10 bolt size but they dont fit well enough, if it aint right i could dump a hole tank of fuel! not wat i want to do!

got a few more bits painted and bolted up, ordered some cheap foam stuff between the van sides and rear tub, and honestly it was ****! off to buy some proper stuff, learning the hard way in bolting stuff back up! wish someone would of done a step by step manual :p
