If I read you correctly, your lock up speed is about 10% wrong and probably explained by the tyre sizes which are also about 10% wrong on their rolling diameter. That would mean you are getting about 10% better mpg than you think i.e 11.6l/100km and that is not too bad for the auto.

problem sounds like key fob battery. On Disco 1 you cannot unlock by simply using the key in the barrel, you need to enter the 4 digit keycode using the key, this disarms the system. No code then off to the dealer. Disco 2 may be the same.

Hi, I'm not so sure about these tyre pressures, the handbook gives 26 front and 33 rear for 235 70 R16's, I run 28 and 34 and find that much more than this makes the car bounce a lot and wander at speed. The older 205 wide tyres used to run at higher pressures.

Your height of 6'7ins might be an issue as regards the choice of manual or electric seats, the seat base being higher for electrics, sample before you buy.
