My intrument panel/speedo and all the surrounding warning lights, indicators etc arent working as they should. I turn on the ignition, everything comes on, 2 seconds later a few lights dim to half then everything goes out. Indicators still work but dont show the lights on the dash and the rear...

went to the place and joined up. 20 pound a day or 140 for v year. place is ok but Tom Flynn, guy who owns it, says hell be out with the digger in the spring making new tracks all over the place. just needs ideas on what kind of tracks people want

iv just painted mine there thursday past, but i did mine in lime green. tell u what that colour gets everyone looking. if u want people to look and notice ur landy paint it as bright as u can. i just rollered mine on. only took me 3 and 1/2 days from start to finish

im in belfast for a few days with the landy and was wondering if anyone knows of a pay and play anywhere in NI? shes not been off road for a week or so and starting to get a bit twitchy. need to get my fix soon.

Does anyone know anything about it? how much it costs? and general rules if there are any. never been to a pay and play before :(

My Defender 300 tdi feels like its loosing power in the lower revs for the past 30 to 40 miles just up till the turbo kicks in. any ideas of what this could be? cheers

they said the pads wernt tht worn, said the previous owner must hav put new pads on (only had landy 6 months) before i got it. didnt think tht was a bit off tho. mine the pins, theres no springs in them tho? looking at retainers and some have springs and some dont ?????

iv recently had new front brake discs fitted to my defender by a garage so to pass an mot (old calipers and pads put back on) and now the outside pads on both sides rattle up and down while driving. any ideas on how to fix??

Goin to be changing my front diff on my 300tdi defender this weekend. is there any tricks i need/should know to do it right? iv got all the bits i need i hope. Diff, which woul;d be handy, gasket and oil. torque wrench and axel stands. Any other bits and bob i need??

mines just called tank too, its a bit ironic though as built to do anything just somethings cant get it there

its done 110,000 right enough. its not even when it takes up drive it does it drivin aboung the road at a steady speed. not constant just every now and again

its not the UJs. the movement goes right into the diff itself

My front prop shaft does nearly a 1/4 turn by hand even when in gear and theres a lot of clungking and bang when drivin in all gears :mad:. how long to u think iv got until i need a new front axel. its my only mode of transport and need it for the next two weeks. help required please :)

it passed, needed front discs plus the rear fog lense and bulb were full of water. but it through for another year :D

about £10 in 2ps and 1ps. certainly cleared up a few rattles after tht collection

Mines going in for a MOT tomorrow but has a few 50p size rust holes in the back exterior of the chassis just below the rear handles. anybody ever passed with them?? just not had tym this week to get it cut out :mad:
