+1 for uj's, I had the exact same symptoms at the weekend, could not hold on to the steering wheel while under load above 40 mpg. It was the front prop uj nearest the transfer box, changed it yesterday and all ok. Happy hunting. Kev

If there is any water in the fuel system it can freeze and cause a blockage. My money would be on a filter! Kev

When was the fuel filter last changed? I know they normally cough splutter and just won't rev when the filter is blocked but a new filter is cheap and easy to change. You have got to start somewhere. Kev
