Got it sorted. A bit strange but it turned out to be a fault on the starter motor. It was stopping the fuel solenoid from opening. Changed stater and starts first turn.

Have purged the Injectors and still no joy.

Hi Fuel pump sounds fine. Runs for about 30 secs and then stops on p 2 so think that is ok. I have purged pump but not injectors. How do I do that? Also dont think it is plugs as it doesn't start when warm.

thanks guys. got it sorted. But new seals hasn't solved my problem. Pump still sounds like a stangled cat. Thought I would replace the seals before investing in a new pump.

Hi Guys, Could do with a little advice please. I have just changed the injector seals on my TD5 and now got to the rocker adjustment and am stuck. How do you know when the injector plunger has bottemed out? What does it feel like? Any help gratefully recieved:confused:

No manual said it shouldn't need priming. But it's not changed its habits since filter change.

Won't start even after its be stood for 2 mins so don't think it's glow plugs. May be wrong. But yes I will do a search.
