if i drive my manual as carfully as i can and realy force myself to behave i can get 25/27 round town maybe 30 on the motorway if i do 55mph, usually autos arnt as good mpg wise around town but should be very little differance on a tidy run

went to shut my disco of last night and after taking the key out of the barrel i still had my wipers and blowers on and my windows and washers still worked. i know that there is a problem with my ignition barrel anyway as it sticks in so gives me the beep to say the keys are in the ignition...

im running fully straight through on my 300 tdi and love the sound, can here the turbo on idle and i sounds amazing on short bursts of power, it does drone but im used to loud exhausts and it doesnt bother me, it wasnt as bad before i took all the interior out either

well he found out earlier of the guy who built the truck that there disco bearmach hd blues, if i buy them and a full set of procomp shocks it works out at £202 all in, that sort of money new would only buy me a britpart kit so i still think its worth doing as i dont make a lot of money and i...

he wants to keep the shocks now so just having the springs off him, i think they will fit ok, will look into fabricating shock drop brackets and maybe shorter turrets and get longer brake lines asap

My mate has just offered me the Defender procomp 2" lift kit on his series 3 hybrid, he has 4 springs and plus 2" front shocks only, he wants £110 which seems a little expensive but the springs are 1 year old and the shocks are 6 months old. Will they fit my 300Tdi disco? can i get away with...

They will get your truck away from the ground (fuel tank n chassis etc) but you wont gain articulation or off road capability

Im not sure about the cause of your problems but engine oil wouldnt be the cause of your problems as it will thin out when the engines warmer anyway and isnt going to cause a hot start issue, i would change the fuel lines or at least clean them out and the same with the injectors.
