    Any good indies in Lancaster?

If you live in Lancaster, I would recommend traveling down to Preston to Independent Land Rover Services on Murray Street. I can vouch for these guys personally. Give Noel a ring on 01772 555634. ATB

Hi If you find your nearest gate and railing manufacturer or small steel fabricators, I am sure they will add the bits you need galv'ing to their next order for a few shillings.

    engine will not turn over

As far as I understand the problem I had (and many other P38 problems), then yes, clearing faults logged will solve problems. The fault was loss of voltage. You have resolved that problem, but the fualt has been logged & sync has been lost between the GEMs & BCEM. Clearing the fault &...

    engine will not turn over

Hi Sorry for not replying to your earlier question (out at work) but glad Datatek answered you. Have you got sorted yet? If not, why not try asking to see if one of the good members of LandyZone is close to you and has a diagnostic kit & could sort you out for a few beer tokens. ATB S.G.

    engine will not turn over

If all the dash lights come on etc on turning on the ignition, but engine does not crank over, I am with the above view...it is out of sync. Mine did just the same last month. Onto autologic & job was a good un in mimutes. Been fine since. Good luck.

P38 wont start... does it have heat stroke?

I guessed you can't tap too much on p38s like I have been doing on series rovers for donkey's years, but I'm sure that noise is a relay not doing something it should be.

P38 wont start... does it have heat stroke?

Hi Well I didn't think the battery was an issue (only about 6 week old exide type) and had no problems with drain etc since i've owed the vehicle, but had it on charge overnight anyway. Went to it today, all the same (and usual) start up beeps, lights & abs pump noises, but when it comes to...
