Hi stripped down the unit I bought off ebay, the piston was rusted solid, I have now contacted the seller for a refund. As for the old unit, at first it was making a very loud noise then stopped working.

Hi Guys: Got a common problem with my Disco 2 air suspension , it gave up the ghost a few weeks ago. I bought a second hand unit off ebay which was 6 months old, and to be honest it does look new. However, today I fitted it, but did not work it just keeps blowing the fuse (30 amp). Any ideas...

Firstly there was no filter (foam) well what was there was in pieces, bought the complete kit £21(ebay), secondly , pipe was full of water which leads to compressor, drained new filter fitted, now works a treat, so fingers crossed no more blown fuses.

I will take a look at the pump, the strange thing is Iansoady you hit the nail on the head, the fuse always blew when it had been a cold night. Thanks xat44 & iansoady for your advise.

Well the suspension has never let me down until now, for some reason it has started blowing the fuse. The strange thing I can go weeks with no problem, then a week where the fuse blows ever other day and at £4 a go . As anybody got any ideas please?:cool:

Hi Just thought I would say hello to you all, just joined today, and bought my first Discovery last week. Not a stranger to the Landy, was in the Army for 15 years and loved driving them (never let me down) more than I can say for the discovery, today I got the three dreaded lights come on...
