    I've been off road, when I moved the caravan. I didn't know about increasing my water depth ability, wait 'til I rub that in the wifes face, I'll try it this weekend in Yorkshire. The lanes there are easy, with the new tyre and wheels it'll be more than capable I think.

    Hi Corbs, my wife said its called Planning, my mistake. Maybe you guys can explain something.... Since fitting the low profile tyres my defender appears to have great grip off road so why do people fit silly chunky types to their vehicles ?

    G-Mack, I think stripes would spoil the look, although my old freelander had them. Yeah green planning means taking the car off road it's legal ,give it a go. So far I prefer my old freelander, the 1.8 engine was great, it was the best off roader. Thanks for your post.
