Thank you for the replies, this is wierd got home from work and all the above problems solved, everything back on, even window works, worrying thing is dont know what it was, as it was like it for a week, but i suppose i cant complain, :)

I know they fitted a different battery as mine was dead flat and knackered if they fitted one that was not excat could this be a problem. The cat starts and runs fine,apart from the engine only other change was the battery but was not a new one, was one out of another car, am bit worried now...

Hi i wonder if anyone can help with my x reg 2.5v6 auto My freelander1 needs a new transponder ring, the coil around the ignition as it was a brittle housing when i took off the steering wheel cover it broke and the copper wire sprung out, now the car wont crank however the alsrm light on...

Could it just be a fuse, have searched web and someone had a problem and they changed the 150amp fuse in the engine bay fusebox, i only saw 4 long fuses that were screwed down some 40 amp and 60amp i believe, where would the 150amp one be
