    Maybe most people who have p38s are using an iPad to write on/view the forum. I can see both search functions. I suspect u Baker are still on windoze. See we are quite advanced really.....

    If youve only just bought perhaps you could take it back to the dealer (if you didnt buy it privately). Is he nearby? Alternatively stick it on ebay as a non-runner - itll have some scrap value.

    They won't now given how much lower the car sits! Wish I'd asked you all before! Next problem he has (there's been a long list) is he got in today and the drivers heated seat has packed in. Any ideas?

    It does go like stink now and corners like it's on rails. Money well spent if it saves him from scrapping it.

    Apparently when they stripped it down they discovered some of the wiring had corroded (before you ask he did see it). This meant the wires back to the ecu needed replacing. It was either that or ditch the car to the dealer.

    Hi My Dad had a similar issue p38 (owned since new). Being a bit tight he spent ages trying to find a solution with the elecies even went as far as resoldering the wires on the rock switch on the dash. In the end his usual garage said the only way to fix was to replace 2 corners of the...
