The studs on a series 3 hub are a larger diameter. When i changed my series 2a hubs to series 3, the half shafts fitted ok. I forgot to mention you will need pre 1981 hubs, post 1981 are different.

They fit, you will need series 3 brake drums and wheel nuts.
