hi sorry going to go against the grain here i have a disco td5 ,but i would go for shogun or landcruiser parts are more readly avaliable over there ,landrover parts would be hard to get and exspensive ,and if you watch any news footage of hot dusty countries you never see a landrover these days...

hi we had a strange noise coming from transmission area on our td5 after lots of head scratching it turned out to be the button on the end of the hand brake vibrating at different speeds good luck

hi ive had two 300 discos on gas loads of power and grunt loverly sound , crap on fuel our average mpg was 13 to the gallon any one who says more is not in the real world or must have feathers on thier feet ,so thats 26 ish on gas,also the v8 is prone to head faliure ,overheating etc ,both ours...

hi i believe early td5 s didnt have cats ,ours is 1999 and hasnt got one,i think the emmission changed so the face lift model from 2003 had tem fitted,but i could be wrong,

hi welcome to the troublesom world of landrover world (should have brought a jap motor) joking aside it sounds like your air bags on the back have sprung a leak and the compressor cant inflate them when loaded,we just had ours done the air springs are £93 each and our garage charged £40...

hi sounds like your radiator is blocked,when under load it over heats and if you back off power temp returns to norm, good luck mark
