Morning Everybody well this morning the RRC 3.9 1994 soft dash started and completed its 1.8 mile trip into the office..........came out 15 minutes later and it wont start. So bonnet up, King lead off and not a thing no spark(and I would of be happy to recieve a shock this time)8...

i must admit this question has crossed my mind?although i guess it depends how rotten the bolts are!. so really any bulk head will do,a V8 one would be ideal but if its a 2.5d or a 200/300 tdi,everything will bolt on/off from the v8 to convert the new one

Ugly, you are correct, however supply and demand will always play a massive factor into this,many many more diesel on the road,also as LPG is seen as "green" it will always attract various tax breaks,as with the EU etc.

my 110 v8 has done 500k+,yes the gear box needs TLC but otherwise its a1. a friend of mine also has a 96 300tdi CSW which has just clicked over 400k, its has been well maintained and tows a car trailer since new, No smoke no bangs no rattles and it still looks spot on, I wouldnt worry about...
