Going in to the 1st winter with my Jan 13 D4 HSE, and have been experimenting with timed climate. I can hear the unit running and so far it has warmed enough to clear frosted windows, but it doesn’t seem to warm the inside of the car and the temperature gauge on the dash doesn’t rise...

Finally got round to changing the loom tonight. All better now. Nice to have 5 pots back :D. My engine loom doesn't appear to be threaded through the ACE pipes - it stays above them.

The mis fire recently started on my 1998 136k disco qnd sure enough the loom and red plug were full of oil. Cleaned out and no improvement so looked under the rocker cover. Prodded all of the injector wires and found them hard and brittle, after which mis fire temporarily disappeared. Going to...

Havent tried the cable as adjusting the drum achieved 3 notches both times. Hopefully the shoes will settle then.
