i think this seems to be the case,as ive only ever seen one size sensor,so the hubs must be different(no idea why) do the sensors require much force to push alll the way in?

i didnt do the job myself,as a local garage fitted them for me. im guessing the sensors are pushed all the way in,but will try and check for myself. when he tried to check for any faults,the code reader he was using wouldnt connect for some reason.

i managed to buy the adapters,which i have had fitted today,but the abs/traction fault still comes on???:confused: any hints or tips guy's??

also,can you buy the sleeves seperate?as i have a feeling they may now be damaged if they have been forced in along with the home made sleeves.

if i finish the job myself,will the fault need to be reset again?

i never got to see the old ones come out,but i was under the impression that the new ones were comlplete,which seems to be the case.the guy in the garage has fitted them but said he had to make 2 sleeves/collars.might explain why im getting abs fault reading.when looking at the new sensors,they...

recently bought 2xfront abs sensors which came with 2 copper looking sleeves,gave them to the local garage to fit for me,but the mechanic reckons there should be another sleeve aswell??:confused:

any of you guy's got any hints or tips on removal of rusted in abs sensors(front),without damaging them?

toying with the idea of upgrading to clear lenses,is it a straight forward job?also got the light guards to remove 1st.

good news that:).you may be able to do mine;).mine is same size & age,a few miles less but doesnt seen to use any water(it only does 100 miles a month though)

hello all and sorry for delay in feedback.tried the checks as advised,everything seems fine.found the chirpping noise was one side of the front bumper not tightened properly:o:):)although the ride does seem a little harder since having bushes replaced(is this normal?)thanks for the suggestions guys

could that be the chirping noise i get when travelling over potholes etc?if i rock the car from side to side,it makes the same chirping noise.i thought it may be the shocks,but if i bounce the front end all is quiet.

viscous coupling??is this to do with the fan?(please forgive me,but im not mechanicaly minded)
