Agree, but if the gearbox was rebuilt 20 months ago( for a so called better build quality than when new,) should this part have also been changed at the time of re-build?

Anyone had an issue before when the clutch hub and shaft have split and the shaft outer sleeve has tried to unwind itself? The garage are telling this This should be one complete part but has been been subject to a force which has caused the shaft to break from the hub and actually unwind...

I've had the same! It's definitely an electrical type whistle( buzzer etc) no Idea had it happen to me about 4 times in 4 years! No idea what the hell it is?
