Thanks for the reply,I have only had it a month,i pxed a freelander for it.There was no problem with the freelander,when idleing and revving up.ie no flat spot.That is why i do not think i am expecting to much of the disco.It still has 2 months warranty left.so i may take it back...

Hi Broadoakboy. It is very slugish when you pull away,unless you give it some throttle,its mainly when its idle and you jab the peddle,does not happen if you slowly depress the peddle. Baz77.

Hi. The disco is manuel,the flat spot is when you are stationary and press the accelorator pedal id does not respond right away but hesitates for a coulpe of seconds. Baz77.
