Replaced my blend motors approx 14 months ago and now I have the book symbol back. Diagnosing I think I may be able to fix the problem using the self tapping screw fix but I'm not sure what size screw works best. Anyone thats tried this fix please advise?

I've had SRS/Airbag warnings for the last week, tried to sort it myself but had to take it to the garage today. The bloke diagnosed the fault and said I need to replace the complete passenger airbag - part no emh 101440 lnf and the airbag has to be from a 99+ P38. Looking on ebay all airbags...

Phil, thanks for the reply my problem sounds fairly similar to yours, its very temperamental - ok for a couple of weeks then all of a sudden it starts locking/unlocking. I'll give the wd40 a try for a week or so before I take the door card off and have more of a play.

My 2001 P38 o/s/f door lock mechanism keeps bouncing when unlocked, none of the other doors do this - please could anyone tell me what the probable cause is?
