Anyone in Hampshire with Testbook, Novacom, Rovacom or anything that can read SRS

Hi Dippypud, the issue is that the SRS light is staying up. The horn still works so I am guessing that the rootary coupler is ok. I am reluctant to go chasing and changing bits without having the fault read so I know where to start. Thank you for the offer eightinavee and I would be willing to...

Anyone in Hampshire with Testbook, Novacom, Rovacom or anything that can read SRS

Good evening all, I have an SRS issue and I am struggling to find anyone with the diagnostic equipment to read what the fault is. I am hoping that there is someone on here who may be able to help or know of someone who may be able to help that is a reasonable distance from Fareham Hampshire...

    Gearbox Woes!!!!!

Your spot on mate thats exactly whats happened, took the box to a transmission specialist he said the front bearings had welded themselves to the shaft. He said it's not worth rebuilding and that it probably wouldn't even be excepted for an exchange. If anyone knows anyone selling a gearbox for...

    Gearbox Woes!!!!!

I have just removed the gearbox from my 91 'H' reg 3 door disco it's the 2.5tdi. I lost all drive one day while sat on the motorway at 70mph. I found i was able to select gears without using the clutch but i couldn't get drive no matter what. So i braved the snow and the cold and i've taken the...

    Complete loss of Drive!!!!

Sounds like i'm not going to be able to diagnose this the easy way, guess i'm going to have to accept the fact i'm going to get cold and dirty straight into the landrover way of life i suppose. I'm guessing there's already a few articles on how to get the gearbox and transfer box out if anyone...

    Complete loss of Drive!!!!

I haven't noticed any change in engine revs i'll have a go in the morning see if it makes a difference. Does this often happen, splines stripping, the fact that i was cruising when i lost drive led me to believe that i hadn't done the splines i'd have thought they'd have gone when i was pulling...

    Complete loss of Drive!!!!

Thats what my feeling is, i would have thought with a working clutch trying to put it in gear with the engine running would be hard. When the clutch cable went on my citroen it was a case of having to slam it into gear ( no it didn't do the box any favours but i did get home).

    Complete loss of Drive!!!!

I've tried that i've locked the diff and put it into high and low then put it in gear and nothing no props moving at all. Is there anyway to check the clutch without removing the box? It's the fact that i can put it into any gear without using the clutch that points me in that direction or am i...

    Complete loss of Drive!!!!

I have recently joined the fraternity of landrover owners and have jumped straight into a problem (bloody thing didn't even make it home before it broke down). I was sat on the motorway cruising at 70mph when all of a sudden there was a dull clunk and since then my discovery has had no...
