Thanks for your replies all - and the links to the d44 website. The car is a 14 plate csw. I am near Chester and we would use it as a family car - me, the wife, 2 kids and a big dog �� Personally I think we can live without the air con - but wifey is adamant we have to have it...

Because in my opinion all station wagon variants should have it. Even more so when they are 20k plus. A 90 pick up I could forgive not putting air con on that, but a csw no.

Good quality oil - I used to use it but now I have gone to the chevron 5w-30 in blue 20l from Costco which is a great product and I use it in everything from 300tdi to wife's honda cdti

Hi ste nova - thanks for the photos! That's exactly it. The guy at richards described it as an angle bracket which bolts to the top of the crossmember and the tub bolts to that. Sorted now - thanks again!
