sorry to hear it...........happened to me last year..some charlie put in a can of diesel hanging around the yard....of course it was waterlogged.....so only option was removed the tank....cleaned it out completly....final wipe out was with kitchen roll , so clean clean.......took pump unit...

hi....as you are all aware i,v changed the engine in the rangie bmw diesel..........due to old engine giving up the ghost....anyway finaly after 4/5 months all together and engine runs sweet as a nut,,,,,,,,,,BUT.....now the auto zf box which worked a treat before we changed engine which...

hi..............here we go again..........right ...i fitted the new oil cooler rad for the auto gearbox,,,,no probs there....then tried to fit the new cooler pies......( the ones that go between the small under the LH headlight cooler and the zf gearbox )......now when i took it all apart some 3...

price...............sir....whatever do you mean..........they will be sent at postage cost....if you want them let me know........pity is i flew over there last week ......i could have dropped them over your house ha ha

hi has anybody got a set of cooler pipes and small rad for zf auto gearbox off a 96 or so range rover diesel (bmw 2.5).......any help would be gratefully received............thank you..

hi right i,v been there.......i undid the solenoid cable (after testing first with a multimeter to see if 12volt was present ) which it was so removed cable (after diss battery) removed solenoid (caution as you lift it as there is a small..small spring and plunger which may fall out) then...

right for those who may be interested....got a p38 diesel, and due to a slight missunderstanding regards engine oil....we blew the engine up...so had to change it.......for those who think they have a modicum of inteligence this job will prove how stupid we can be,,,,,anyway....found an engine...

well ...finaly got there.....had to refit the original r/r injector pump.....and bingo....it now runs...........now where do all those pipes and hoses go ? anybody know what the small radiator/cooler unit in front of the left hand side front wheel arch does ?.......chris

well done that man.....i always said "why pay for a garage to bugger up my rangie when i can do that myself for nowt "

hi......don,t know if this helps.....but if the compressor is working as was mine check the inflow filters...if needs remove them to see if the comp is getting enough air into it....ie strugling to get air in......impossible to pump out................worked for me !

well i changed the top electronic unit.........simple enough except some bright spark decided to fit a wierd security bolt head......which took the best part of 2 hours to sort but heho.....*hit happens.....anyway,,,still not working,,,,,,,do i need to change the bottom control unit as well ...

not the answer i wanted but i suspected this...........blimey....if i fell into a barrel of tits....i,d come out sucking my own bloody thumb......but thank you

just changed an engine in the rangie put in bmw lump out of a bmw saloon changed all the stuff ie sump oil pic up,manifold etc but left the injector pump off the saloon on the engine....got the thing in and turning over...but the injector pump will not pump out to injector...
