Hi, thanks for you reply, to be totally honest I am not sure if it is the gearbox warning light - I am writing for my brother. It is a manual box, 3.9 v8 on a P reg. Sounds more like a handbrake warning light to me? I'll get more info or go look myself I think. He doesn't explain things...

Hi all, just bought a P reg disco 1, v8. On the way home the gearbox warning light was flickering on and off, can anyone give me some advice please? Cheers, Gary.
