Brought a 70,000 TD6 04 Last year, so far I have spent over £4000 to keep it going. It had a battery drain, So it had a new battery, then a new alternator. Then the Fuel pumps played up both of them (in the tank and inline), this caused it not to start. Then the brake callipers locked...

If it is the starter inhibitor, is there any way to start the car to get it to a garage? even if its in "Limp Mode" its currently parked in an underground carpark. So the RAC will have a job getting it out!!

Thanks for the quick response, I will try tomorrow - Fingers Crossed. I'm also taking a heavy duty battery booster, just incase it is a battery issue. I will let you know. Cheers
