Hi Mondo - thanks for the advice. Just shows that Land Rover main dealer's are always that clued up. I am only at 28000 miles so should have a bit of leeway left before I need to consider changing. H1REC :)

I have a Freelander 2.5 (2001) and am receiving conflicting reports about whether it has a belt or chain. Even though my local Land Rover dealer tells me it is a chain I have a reliable source which tells me it is a belt. Also I cannot find any infoirmation about when it should be changed...
