hi guys, sorry to jump in i have the Petrol 4.4 mine is also starting up only with a full charge in the battery. battery light is on in dash and when i test across the battery you can see the volts dropping.... so its gotta be Alternator... I used a chap i know and have used in the past to...

Nice One Thanks Andy So you managed to attach your cables along the side of the chassis using P clips some people have told me to try and get the cables as high on top of the chassis as poss and use cable ties,...:confused: P clips do seem a much better way, tad tricky getting the drill bit...

Winch it sell it @ 2.8 mtrs £30 more like it I thought to wire in on a Defender it needed to be at least 3 mtrs you reckon 2.8 will be long enough tried calling them no answer ill try again later in the day
