Thanks for the advice guys, but as you can see from the thread it was sorted. The ignition barrel was locked because of the immobiliser/electrics not working due to the battery being dead... A jump start sorted it all. :)

Sorted. Something must have been left on and was draining the battery very slowly over the last couple of weeks (and I've not been using it much). A jump start and a battery check later courtest of the AA and all is good. Well apart from the Air con fan not blowing... but that's for another...

if only... I'll double check but the side bars/hangers are fully molded with no gaps. The new hanger does indeed have a cunning little gap though.
