    Magnecor

Im going to sit somewhere in the middle here. If you run LPG you do need an ignition system in top condition, unless you want to cause some damage that is. Tesco value style leads don't last very long in my previous experiences so therefore are not good value. I'm not convinced Magnecor are...

    This Is Getting Silly!!

I sympathise with people paying alot to run their dream but right now things are not too bad. Give it ten years when the demand for crude oil exceeds the production capabilities and we will see some real price increases not 10p or 20p over 10 years or so. Hopefully they will do electric motor...

twin rear box exhaust to single???

Get a custom built powerflow like I got for mine. Sounds good, its stainless and you have a lot of choice of tailpipes and routing. I did look at the RPI system but although it sounds good the back end with a large pipe each side looks like a wheel barrow. I can give you a good company in...

    how many mpg you getting

Iv got a 4 litre running sequential lpg, if I do a combo of town and long runs I can get 210 miles of £50, if its just town I get about a 100 miles. Thats based on 61p per litre, Iv also got a stainless exhaust on mine and like hearing it so I dont drive too lightly either. Until you have...

    About to take the plunge!

Well it sounds like they want it to go fully working etc. Bear in mind car dealers use allsorts of patter to get a sale for a good price for them. Dont know if you heard on the news yesterday but they were talking about used car sales and dealer responsabilities for faults. Apparently now it has...

    Honest opinion on LPG

Iv had lpg on a few cars now amongst them range rovers. A single point system and indeed the single point with lamba probe feedback are both very detrimental of performance and I wouldnt bother with. Sequential systems are alot better and offer minimal losses. The only problem with buying a car...

    About to take the plunge!

Its a great car, Iv had it best parts of 2 months now and very happy with it. Mine has 89k on it, I bought it privately for just under 6k. Full history, last owner had just spent 5k in the last 6 months having both head gaskets, new air bags, air bag ecu, compressor and a brand new seq lpg gas...

    About to take the plunge!

Mine doesnt have them (2001), why let that put you off, rather than keep swapping seats over I bought a nice recaro junior for my little. The better quality seatbelt type seats are not far off being as safe as an iso. No point letting £150 stand in the way of a 9k car.

    About to take the plunge!

Iv got a 2001 4.0 HSE and I get 16 out of mine on average doing a combo of long and short runs. There a great car and one with such a low mileage should be fab, anything short of that I wouldnt touch it at that price. All the cheap ones I looked at were basket cases, I guess you either spend...

    hi all

RAC guys are well trained and it may well be the case; he must have seen some signs to come to that conclusion. There may be a combination of problems with your motor. Does it smoke excessively? Did he check for blockages?

    hi all

To suck an intake pipe flat a fair old vacuum is being drawn through your intake system. It would suggest whatever the blockage is it is well and truly in there. Removal and inspection firstly of the air box and then the intercooler would be a good start.

Can I stop my P38 mirrors moving when reversing?

Gents thanks for all your help and advise, I have resolved my issue. It seems you have to press and hold the seat memory button and not one of the presets to remove the dipping option. All sorted.

Can I stop my P38 mirrors moving when reversing?

Hi, iv just tried the seat button method, unfortunately this has not solved the issue, I didnt get a message on the dash either. I should have probably said previously my mirrors are going up when in reverse rather than down as apparently they should. Any further suggestions anybody?
