HELLO EVERYONE , has eneyone come across the bottom threds coming out of the bracket . The reason i found this problem i noticed only half the disc is got fresh rust on it. Will i need a new bracket? And has enyone had rusty nuts on the front turrets ,it seams the two on the back are shot and...

helo Alfresco ,that seems the only way so far. My mate and i have tryed everthing but that . I will get it some how , it needs shocks and discs and bushes for the MOT,and ABS leads and that just the front . The joys of life ! Ive give up and going on the drink

bonnet's stuck, unable to release it, cable's come off lever inside the cab - even with pulling inner cable with pliers and someone bouncing on the bonnet at the same time ...nowt is moving

That sounds like a heater matrix problem or someones got the kettle on

i thought about the hammer but i already snapped the shaft hitting the back door! it's a discovery 2000 tdi

Can not get my bonnet up ! The cable has came off inside and even when i pull the cable nowt happens. The lock itself is jammed,I can see the plate though the grill with 2 rivets holding it in place. Can i get in this way and will i need to replace the lock after . :doh:

Good morning from newcastle,if you have had a Freelander and a Alfa you should have enough tools to keep the Disco on the road. My disco is just as moody as the Alfa 146 i had . But is alot more fun and the Disco three looks smarter then the Rangerover sport!

This bonnet is doing my head right in . Someone must know of a way to release it or can piont me too someone who could,

you need a second earth from your bettery and that will sort it . Its loking for earth and your problem is how its eathing . Take it from the termanal to the wing or bulk , or test it with a jump lead first. Its worth a shot
