    just checked the sensor, it was tight on the pedal with only a little bit of movement. I have adjusted and will post the results in a few days. Thanks for the help clive.

    Hi, thanks for the replies. I am pretty sure mine doesnt have a throttle sensor, there is a hole for one next to the brake light switch but no sensor. I will take a closer look after work. Thanks again Clive

    Hi, Thanks for the replies. The vehicle is used mainly for shooting / lambing etc. Although the freelander is taxed and tested, the likelihood of driving on a public highway of a night is very unlikely. I will bear your comments in mind though and will possibly give the legal ones a go...
