Hi My turbo on my Freelander 1 (with the L series Diesel) has blown. Can anyone tell me if any of the turbos from the rover range will fit ie the 220 etc. I can't afford a new or remade one, so thought the rover one may do the job. Any advice gratefully recieved. Dave (cuz):confused:

Hi What a nit wit, i have filled my diesel tank with petrol. I have to replace the fuel pump anyway. After i have drained the tank and changed the pump and filter what is the best way to proceed. Any suggestions welcome. Cuz (Dave):doh::doh::doh::o:o

Hi Still trying to sort out this engine problem. I am now told the engine is "Hunting" if that helps find the solution. Someone has suggested it could be the injector pump, is this possible. I have been offered a rover diesel car would the injector pump from this fit. Also the turbo does not...

Hi Martin No it still does the same thing. Like someone is constantly blipping the throttle on tickover. Have been told the "hammer mod" would help, but can't find out exactly what it is. Any other suggestions greatly welcomed. Regards Dave (cuz)

Hi Just got a w reg Freelander hardback XEDI. Passed MOT ok, but engine running funny. The engine starts fine and runs well, but as it warms the revs go up and down ranging between 850 and 1100 rpm. New to diesels can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks Cuz:confused:
