Yeah I saw a post online where they'd used the bender and the radius was huge. I've got plenty round things kicking about :) I've taken your advice and got everything separate as I already have tubing. Saves me £30. My plan is to take the old pipe out and copy it and do some practice flaring...

Here is a photo... The crack is directly behind the copper brake line. Im guessing the whole bracket would need to be cut off and a new one welded on. Or just a repair? What do you think?

Its bracket off the chassis where the top of the spring is seated. Is that a difficult welding job? What should the ballpark cost be of having a replacement fitted? I cant do welding work myself unfortunately and im quite skint!

Cheers, sadly I saw 2 sticking out the duct when I had the dash and vent off to do the wiper wheel boxes. As I got one the other slipped right down so its into the very bottom of the system. Right pain in the tits if you will.

Bizarre one! I lost a bit pen down my windscreen heater duct. Its gone right down and is rattling about. It is VERY annoying as it wasn't even MY pen. I've tried ignoring it :D Is there an easy way to get into/at the duct? Defender 110 csw.

I'd definitely like to do that at some point. Starting to look more likely. No one else got a working top hose inline thermostat switch? :eek: Not that mine is working!
