sorted the problem, pump was shagd n return pipe from injectors was blocked. thanks for the help. hope evri1 is avin fun in the white stuff

put a hidden kill switch sumwer in your cab. i jus cut an earth wire n put a switch on so it woudnt start coz it wasnt earthed

haha ur jokin arnt you, its nearly new from all the parts that have broke and bin replaced lol.

could have over tightened and stripped thread on the pump. i will check tomorrow

ah i get u. aint tried wiv full tank n liv in the sticks n no vehicle 2 get more fuel at the mo

the air is cumin from sumwer before the filter

i took the tank off n drained it to see if ther was any crap in the bottom but its bak on no n half full

no cross thread n copper washers all round. iv tried everythin i can think of but i kno its gonna be summat really simple

i also tried openin the bleed screw on the filter and pumping it manually but nothin but air comes out no matter how long i pump it for

no iv not changed the cap and breather is fine. iv been runnin it and loosening the injectors to try and get the air out but it jus keeps on comin.

names dave, iv had my 1985 defender for 2 years n only jus got round to registering

my swb 200tdi is drawing air from some where between the tank and the filter, i have changed fuel pipes and filter, and the pump is fairly new, yet still have the problem. iv also had the tank off and evrithing looks fine. im running out of ideas so could any1 help?

did u manage to find out wot the problem was with your fuel as mine is doin the same, it jus keeps drawin air from sumwer but i cant find wer its comin from. iv changed the filter and fuel pipes, iv had the tank off and cant find anythin wrong ther so im stumped
